Manager Housing Pathways Krystal Moores has been awarded our 2020 Bravo Award for a staff member who goes above and beyond in her work at Bridge Housing and in demonstrating excellence in supporting one or more of our values.
Congratulations go, too, to the following runners-up for the Bravo Award:
- Bronagh Loy: Team Leader, Assets
- Jane Smith: Technical Officer, Northern Beaches
- Rhonda Smith, Accounts Officer, Central Office
Bridge Housing also today acknowledged five and ten years’ of dedicated service by the following staff:
- 10 years: Rita Ladkin
- 5 years: Andrew Stone, Helen Tighe, Ariana Vumbaca.
The citation for Krystal’s nomination by Director Housing Helen Tighe, read:
"Krystal demonstrates professionalism and integrity when she takes on key commitments and gives her all to deliver them. She models behaviour and demonstrates a focus of social responsibility that mean a benchmark of outstanding services to our clients, tenants and stakeholders is set. She does this through a clear and transparent approach to resource allocation using the MOS and enables her and her team to adapt their work commitments shared between the two offices to meet key priorities.
These include establishing and implementing the Northern Beaches Case Coordination Committee to prioritise some of most vulnerable people sleeping rough on the Northern Beaches. She also played a pivotal role in the implementation of the Together Home program in Central to gain the best outcomes for clients who have been homeless and sleeping rough. She has delivered on these requirements with commitment and passion that sees her celebrate with her colleagues the successors achieved each step of the way.
Krystal walks the talk when it comes to demonstrating the values of the Bridge Housing organisation and deserves the recognition of this award. BRAVO Krystal you are tops to us! "
Bravo Award runners up receive $500 and the winner receives $1000. The awards were presented virtually by Deputy Chair Carolyn Scobie. Thank you to these and all our staff for your extraordinary efforts during this extraordinary year.
