HomeGround Real Estate Sydney has taken on the property management of 25 affordable housing units in a 38-unit complex on the corner of Collett Pde and James Ruse Drive. The other homes in the complex are social housing, including six accessible homes for people with a disability.
A management transfer from Bridge Housing, the properties will be managed by the specialist affordable housing team at HomeGround. They have the contacts, systems and real estate experience to find suitable, eligible affordable housing tenants in need.
The Parramatta site was purchased by Bridge Housing at a market discounted price from Land and Housing Corporation in July 2015. New housing was developed using NRAS entitlements and was completed in 2017. The development helped Bridge meet its Nation Building leveraging commitment with the NSW Government 4 years ahead of schedule.
