Bridge Housing’s not-for-profit real estate agency, HomeGround Real Estate Sydney, has a new Manager Licensee in Effie Warren.

But Effie is no stranger to Bridge Housing or the real estate market. She began her career by gaining a real estate license and joining a private agency in southern Sydney’s Kingsford as a rental property manager.

A stint in property and office management in the city office of a large agency followed, before she applied and secured a job with Bridge Housing in 2015 as a housing manager. She then worked as leasehold manager in charge of the properties Bridge leases from the private market.

“I feel that all roads have led to this role with HomeGround Real Estate Sydney. I not only have experience of rental property management, but my time at Bridge Housing has helped me understand the challenges for lower income tenants in finding and sustaining safe, secure housing.”

As the agency’s second birthday looms next month, Effie is focussed on creating greater awareness of how HomeGround Real Estate Sydney can help property developers fulfil their regulatory obligations to manage their affordable housing tenancies through a registered community housing provider.

With a boisterous 18-month old son at home, Effie is ready for a busy but fulfilling 2020!
