Bridge Housing’s inclusive workplace has been recognised by the Diversity Council of Australia as a 2019-20 Inclusive Employer.

Last year Bridge participated in DCA’s bi-annual Inclusion@YourWork Indexwhich enabled us to measure diversity and inclusion in our workforce and benchmark findings to a Diversity Council of Australia members.

Achievement of Inclusive Employer status required us to be active and committed to inclusion by achieving results that exceed the national benchmark on at least five out of six of the following measures: awareness; engagement; inclusive organisational climate; inclusive leadership; inclusive team; and exclusion.

Acting CEO Rebecca Pinkstone said: “Achievement of this status underlines the hard work we have put into updating our Diversity and Inclusion Policy and three-year Strategy led by our staff, particularly our Diversity and Inclusion Committee.”

“A diverse and inclusive workplace is central to our corporate culture and embedded in our everyday business operations,” she said.
