Bridge Housing’s first Aboriginal CareerTracker intern has rejoined us over the summer to advance her skills and experience.

CareerTrackers is an organisation that supports young Indigenous students through tertiary education and into employment.

Kelsey Attwood worked at Bridge Housing in July this year and will recommence work in the Communities Team for 11 weeks in her second stint under the CareerTrackers Internship Program introduced by Bridge Housing earlier this year.

The program supports increasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participation in the workforce nationally through paid internships that develop pathways and opportunities for young adults.

Kelsey was a familiar face in the Social Housing Management Transfer Team. Now she will be working on a number of projects and working alongside the team to deliver community engagement and tenant participation initiatives under our Building Bridges Strategy.

A big Bridge Housing welcome Kelsey!
