After nearly 11 years at the Department of Communities and Justice (formerly FACS) as a Client Service Officer in Strawberry Hills, Estrella Andrews knows housing access and demand services like the back of her hand.   

Joining Bridge Housing in March this year, she took up a Housing Manager – Pathways role in our Central office and experienced working on the community housing side of social housing allocation for the first time.   

“I love the culture and collaborative teamwork at Bridge Housing. Once a month our team gets together and evaluates our work and puts issues and our worries on the table. You’re not on your own and you realise that the challenges you face are faced by other staff.”

Estrella and her husband are mad travellers, saving the leave and money to do twice yearly trips to exotic places. Her favourite destination? Thailand, especially for the food!
