Bridge Housing staff completed the Bloody Long Walk charity event yesterday, covering 35 kilometres in brisk temperatures and gusty winds. But team spirit was high as some 20 staff participated in the walk/run from Palm Beach to Manly.
The event raised $7,945 for the Mito Foundation, which supports individuals and their families living with Mitochondrial Disease (Mito) and helps fund desperately needed cures for people suffering Mito. It is the most money the Bridge Housing running team has ever raised for its annual charity run.
