When Kamal Salim left the private sector and a learning and development role, she yearned to work for an employer who made a social impact.

Having volunteered at the Wayside Chapel for 12 years and as a home tutor for migrants learning English, volunteering, helping people and customer service are almost second nature for Kamal.

She joined Bridge Housing in June 2018 in the Reception team and quickly gained experience in repairs administration and housing support before landing a Project Officer role in the SHMT Transition Team for the new Northern Beaches portfolio.

This month she has been appointed to a full-time Tenant Participation Officer role in the Communities Team, where she will help to build the Bridge community, including our newest residents on the Northern Beaches.
