Bridge Housing joined other service providers on the Northern beaches last week to participate in the Homelessness Week open day run by Ebbs House, a Mission Australia homelessness service.

Ebbs House is a Mission Australia homelessness service that had a big open day today as part of Homelessness Week.

Local services attending included Community Northern Beaches, Mission Australia, Northern Beaches Centrelink, Kedesh, TAFE, local Police and Mission Australia youth programs. Lots of people from the local community also attended.

Phil Pettitt from the RBG Community Greening program was at the open day running a workshop on building a food forest as part of the community garden.

Ebbs House has a community garden and a chicken coop in the backyard that the residents work on together and people at the open day were getting involved in the garden.
