Thank you to everyone who came along to Time to Talk Russian at Waverley Library this week. It was a great opportunity to connect with our Russian speaking residents in their own language and to hear about their experiences as a Bridge Housing tenant.
We enjoyed a spectacular Russian lunch prepared by Four Brave Women, a social enterprise cafe where people of refugee and asylum seeker background are trained in hospitality. The chefs serve up an array of delicious meals from their homelands so customers can enjoy Russian sweets, a Ukrainain breakfast and an Iraqi lunch all in the one space.
