HomeGround Real Estate Sydney was delighted to attend the launch of HomeGround Real Estate Canberra (HGREC) last week and watch the network of not-for-profit real estate agencies grow nationally. 

Some 50 people attended the launch, which has been 12 months in the planning since ACT community housing provider CHC received seed funding from the ACT Government. ACT Chief Deputy Minister Yvette Berry MLA helped CHC CEO Andrew Hannan officiate at Thursday’s proceedings.

Bridge Housing launched HomeGround Real Estate Sydney in April 2018 in Australia’s toughest market for people on moderate to low incomes. We generate profits from residential real estate management to help grow affordable housing supply and address homelessness in Sydney.

Canberra will be targeting ethicals landlord who want HomeGround to manage their properties at market rate management fees as well as philanthropic landlords who are willing to donate any or all of their property or rent to do more social good.
