Bridge Housing and the Women’s Housing Company this week completed 90 Neighbourhood Q&As over the past four months to engage with our new Northern beaches tenants.

Since early December when the first sessions began, we have:

  • Met with 847 tenants
  • Had 1,002 conversations about the transition
  • Covered over 2,400 km in the mobile office
  • Awarded 14 $50 gift vouchers as lucky door prizes to tenants who attended a Q& A session.

Some 1,200 tenants will be transitioning to Bridge Housing or the Women’s Housing Company from FACS in August as part of the Social Housing Management Transfer Program.

Many thanks to the SHMT team who have worked tirelessly to get to know our new tenants, to understand their needs and to communicate vital information about the transfer process. The feedback we received from tenants provided useful data and insights to both organisation and will enable us to continually refine our tenant engagement processes.

On May 2 we will begin Drop-In sessions to enable tenants to hand in their transition paperwork.
