Bridge Housing staff had a Cheese for Change morning tea this week to participate in White Ribbon Australia’s awareness and fundraising event.
Cheese brings people together, so the idea is that a morning tea with cheese will foster discussion about violence against women.

White Ribbon reports that:
• 85% of Australian women have been sexually harassed.
• One woman a week is killed at the hands of a current or former partner.

All funds raised from Cheese for Change will go towards running critical primary prevention programs, including Breaking the Silence, White Ribbon’s free respectful relationships school program.

Bridge Housing is an accredited White Ribbon Workplace with zero tolerance for violence against women and children.
