Helen Tighe, Acting GM Operations, at Bridge Housing has been appointed to the NSW Government’s newly formed Housing Pathways Advisory Council (HPAC).

CEO John Nicloades said: “We are delighted about Helen’s appointment and know she will bring her considerable experience and expertise to HPAC's work. Warmest congratulations Helen.”

The successful nominees to the Council reflect the diversity of the community housing sector, have held senior roles and demonstrated extensive experience in Housing Pathways. Women’s Housing Company, St George Community Housing, Compass Housing, Housing Plus and Evolve Housing are also represented on the Council.

HPAC will work with Family and Community Services (FACS) to oversee the operation of the Housing Pathways social housing allocation system and statewide housing register. The first meeting of HPAC will be held in early March.
