PamXmas 3652 editedEvery December, for as long as anyone can remember, Kensington resident Pam Pryor has arrived at Bridge Housing’s offices laden with homemade Christmas cakes.

Pam learned how to make Christmas pudding from her grandmother and Christmas cake from her mother, and she knows the ingredients by heart.

As Pam lives alone, she likes to share her family’s culinary heritage and the festive spirit with the staff at Bridge. She arrived at our new offices in Bathurst St yesterday pushing her trolley bearing three large, gift-wrapped cakes.

“I can’t recall when I first started making Christmas cakes for Bridge but I have been a resident for more than 10 years,” she said.

“We will really enjoy this special treat and thank Pam for her generosity,” said CEO John Nicolades.
