Bridge Housing and the Women's Housing Company have successfully concluded a series of five Meet and Greet events with our new Northern beaches tenants who will transition from the NSW Department of Family and Community Services in August next year.

Some 30 tenants attended the final session in Dee Why yesterday at which both the Bridge Housing CEO John Nicolades and the Women's Housing Company CEO Debbie Georgopoulos spoke.

Events were held in Manly Vale, Narraweena, Manly, Forestville and Dee Why over the past few months to meet residents and answer their questions about the transfer. We have spoken to some 250 residents. Neighbourhood Q&A sessions will also be held from December 2018 - March 2019 to discuss the transition process.

Some 1,200 tenancies are part of the Northern beaches package in the Social Housing Management Transfer Program (SHMTP) for which we won the tenancy management rights for 20 years in a competitive tender in October last year.
