Thank you for taking part in Small Works | Big Stories 

This is your chance to share a glimpse of everyday life, moments of reflection, creativity, and care through your art. Please read these guidelines carefully to make sure your work is eligible for the exhibition. 

Who can participate 

  • Open to all Bridge tenants
  • Each artist is encouraged to submit up to 2 artworks
  • If you submit more than 2, Bridge Housing reserves the right not to display additional pieces. 

Artwork requirements 

  • All artworks must be original
  • Artworks must not incite violence, discrimination, or hate in any form. 
  • Formats: Postcard or A5
  • Artworks must be received by 11 May at either of Bridge Housing’s offices. 
  • Artist materials will be available to tenants during the Small Art Workshops to be held in March – May 2026. Once these art resources have been consumed, Bridge will not be supplying additional materials. 

Submission process 

  • Complete an Artist Form  
  • Bring your artwork to either Bridge office or give it to the Community Team by the submission deadline of 11 May, 2026.
  • Each piece should include your first name on the back in pencil. 

Exhibition & Sale 

  • All artwork will be displayed at the Mothership Gallery during the exhibition. 
  • Artworks will be for sale
    • Postcards: $50 
    • A5 artworks: $100 
  • Artists receive 100% of the sale price
  • Bridge Housing will notify artists if their work sold by 20 June and pay artists on or before 30 July 2026
  • Bridge takes no responsibility for artworks that are lost or damaged during the exhibition. 

Photography & Publication 

  • By participating, artists grant Bridge Housing the right to photograph and publish their artwork, in full or in part, for promotional purposes.
