Home with Heart

Housing First

Bridge piloted the first NSW Housing First program more than ten years ago.  Despite the success of numerous programs (Step to Home and Together Home), we continue to advocate for permanent funding to help solve homelessness.

Scholarship Grants

The life-changing grants program Advance Scholarship helps our social housing tenants with financial aid for education and career development opportunities.  They can apply for a grant for themselves or for their children.

Community Greening

Neighbours connect in nature through our Community Greening program where tenants help design, dig and nurture their community garden under the caring expertise of the highly talents Royal Botanic Gardens team.

Hand Up

An innovative arrears management program, Hand Up enables residents facing eviction for high levels of unpaid rent to save their tenancies and get the help they need.

The difference we make

The Difference We Make, our outcomes framework, helps us to measure our services against our mission of improving lives and strengthening communities.

A safe, secure, affordable home is the stable base people need to change their lives for the better. We measure the impact of our work for our residents and local community across five key areas:

  • House and home
  • Health and safety
  • Social and community
  • Work, learning and financial wellbeing
  • Environment

Always was and
always will be

Bridge Housing acknowledges that the land we live and work on always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
