Enter Your Artwork in the Bridge Tenant Art Show 2026

Bridge tenants are invited to enter their artwork in the Bridge Tenant Art Show 2026, a bi‑annual exhibition celebrating creativity, lived experience and community connection.

Taking place during Reconciliation Week (1–6 June 2026) at Mothership Studios in Marrickville, the Art Show showcases the talent and voices of social housing residents through art. Now in its tenth year, the exhibition honours stories of home, culture, belonging and truth‑telling.

This year’s show will be curated by Dennis Golding, an acclaimed Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay artist whose work explores identity, history and lived experience. Ahead of the exhibition, Dennis will also lead a hands‑on workshop for tenant artists, offering inspiration, ideas and practical skills.

What kind of art can I enter?

Tenants can submit artworks in a wide range of mediums, including:

  • Painting and drawing
  • Photography and digital media
  • Sculpture and clay
  • Wearable art
  • Writing and words

There are also Small Works categories for postcard and A5‑sized artworks, creating an accessible way for more tenants to participate.

Most artworks exhibited will be available for purchase, with 100% of sales going directly to the tenant artist.

Why enter?

The Tenant Art Show is about more than art — it’s about being seen, heard and valued. Whether you’re an experienced artist or creating for the first time, this is a chance to share your story, connect with others, and be part of a supportive creative community.
