Bridge Housing, Homes NSW and the Federal Government are partnering to deliver a housing redevelopment in Maroubra.

With funding from the Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF), the project will transform an under-used 9,647m² site, replacing 33 ageing homes with 144 new apartments – designed for both social and affordable housing.

The new homes will be modern, energy-efficient and built to last. They will be located close to jobs, shops, schools, public transport and beaches, giving residents strong access to services and opportunities.

Demolition activities are expected to start in early 2026 and main construction works to commence later in the year, creating local jobs and adding to the pipeline of housing projects across Greater Sydney.

This redevelopment forms part of the Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF) program, supporting the delivery of new homes on well-located sites across Australia. The project reflects a partnership between Homes NSW, as landowner, and Housing Australia, combining public land, government investment and community sector expertise to deliver enduring social and economic outcomes through affordable housing.
