Social Housing
If you are on a pension or cannot afford a private rental home, social housing may be right for you*.
Social housing is designed to help people on low to moderate incomes. To apply, you must meet eligibility criteria including you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Are a current NSW resident and
- Meet the gross income threshold for your household.
Once approved, you will join the NSW Government’s Social Housing waiting list.
